Amanda Lang is a well-known Canadian journalist and author, known for her work on business and economics. Born on October 31, 1970 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Lang grew up in a family of accomplished journalists. Her father was a newspaper reporter and her mother was a speechwriter for former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.
Lang began her career in journalism at the Financial Post, where she quickly rose through the ranks. In 2002, she joined the Globe and Mail as their New York correspondent, and later became the paper’s senior business correspondent.
